Build a Bigger Day at Legoland

Little builders, rejoice. If your things to do in Newport Beach include a theme park day, Legoland is a good fit for families. The park is in Carlsbad, so plan an early start and a long drive south. Walk through Miniland USA. Cool off at the water park on a warm day. Bring a hat, snacks, and a sense of humor. Kids will set the pace. When you are back, keep the evening gentle. A bay cruise or time by the pool is the kind of calm Newport Beach activities that suit tired feet.
