Health & Safety Updates
Balboa Bay Resort is committed to continuing best practices and following all guidelines as it pertains to the COVID-19 crisis. We are proud to be members of the Newport Beach community and can’t wait for a time when we can all be together again. Until that time comes, we have taken a number of steps to ensure our staff, guests and community members continued safety.
As the situation remains very fluid, we will communicate any updates as they arise.
The Resort is currently taking reservations and will update our availability as information becomes available. The Resort prides itself on operating with five-star health and operations protocol. The Resort works hard to bring exceptional standards to a new level to assure guests that they and our staff are safe and cared for when visiting the Resort.
In accordance with the CDC’s recommendations, the Resort is implementing safety measures including requiring staff to wear face coverings in public spaces, and requesting guests do so as well.
Blend Café and the Pool will be open starting May 1st, with the addition of social distancing measures. Chairs are available on a first come, first serve basis on the pool deck. A&O Kitchen+Bar will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with limited indoor and outdoor seating. Bayfront Boutique is open with a maximum of 2 guests shopping at a time, requesting all shoppers wear provided gloves. Waterline, the Spa and Fitness Center will be closed until further notice.
The Resort has increased its efforts to ensure the health and safety of our staff and guests including sanitizing all public areas three times per day using EPA-approved disinfectants.
Our leadership is continually monitoring the recommendations from the Orange County Health Department, CDC and Governor Newsom.
